Homeopathy for Covid-19 shows increasing evidence

"Emergency Setting Homeopathy | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" proves its worth.

The "Emergency Setting Homeopathy | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" is a document that is divided into four sections:

  1. Current information on the scientific status of research on Covid-19 in a very condensed and clear form.
  2. General clinical advice on dealing with infectious diseases.
  3. Condensed pool of 10-15 homeopathic remedies suitable for Covid-19, from which the most similar remedy is selected according to the patient's current, individual list of symptoms.
  4. Mini-repertory of symptoms frequently observed with Covid-19.
  5. General posology.

The "Emergency Setting Homeopathy | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" is made available in continuous updates to the international medical community for research purposes. It formed the basis of the world's first positive study on the treatment of Covid-19 with medication. This study was conducted by the BÜTAD association of doctors and pharmacists in Turkey under the leadership of pharmacist Fatma Henden. She explains how this study came about here.

The development and clinical research on the homeopathic treatment of Covid-19 is an ongoing international scientific process. You will be informed about updates on our website.

Acute Covid-19 treatment with homeopathy - three-month course 2023

What you do, you can do.

Due to the current development of the Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing evidence for treatment with homeopathy, the curriculum of the traditional three-month course has been rewritten so that the introduction to homeopathy in Module I is based on the acute treatment of Covid-19. The aim is to inform and train doctors so that they are able to safely apply the homeopathic acute treatment of Covid-19 patients to their conventional training.

The three-month course starts on July 15, 2023.
Module I is divided into two blocks. Both last 10 days.
Block 1 - A course | block of 10 | 15.07.2023- 24.07.2023
(only 6 vacation days required)
Block 2 - B course | block of 10 | 29.07.2023- 07.08.2023**
(only 6 vacation days required)

Clinical picture of Covid-19 | Update III | 2020 - Knowledge helps

The course of the disease: What actually happens with Covid-19? What you should know in any case:

1. fever above 39°C has a protective effect

For this reason, anything that lowers the fever, which serves to defend against infection, is avoided. A healthy fever is between 39.5-39.9°C.

At temperatures

  • above 40°C or below 39°C, with
  • stressful accompanying symptoms such as headaches, restlessness and the like,
  • and a fever lasting longer than 3 days

we recommend that you consult a homeopathic doctor immediately.

2. colorful symptom picture

The disease Covid-19, which is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has a very colorful symptom picture.

The disease can start in very different ways:

  • Dry bumps can be found in the nose, which constantly reappear and lead to an inflamed, painful and sore nose. Sense of smell and taste are restricted or disappear.
  • There may be discomfort in the pharynx with feelings of numbness. In addition, a bitter taste is often perceived. Dryness. Sense of smell and taste are restricted or disappear.
  • It can start with a sore throat. A burning sensation from the throat down to the breastbone.
  • In some people, children as well as adults, it may start with a short dry cough.
  • Some complain of a very severe headache, usually in the front of the head. Some also experience a feeling of heat there (do not take painkillers for headaches, as these usually also reduce the fever and this could make things worse).
  • Others, on the other hand, have a pronounced *weakness in the foreground, usually without fever or with a very weak and insidious one. Extreme caution is required here. *Our recommendation is to consult a homeopathic doctor immediately.

3. Covid-19 has a triphasic course

  • First come 1-2 daysof a normal acute infection**.
  • This is often followed by 3-4 days when you think you are over it. However, you notice that symptoms flare up again and again or change. You are neither really ill nor really well**. This is the phase in which we recommend that you consult a homeopathic doctor immediately. You should not waste any time. The earlier we can intervene in the process, the easier it is to steer the course.
  • If on the average 7th day (3-11) there is suddenly lung involvement, this indicates a serious progression.

Even in these severe cases, doctors have already been able to show that they have been able to provide curative treatment with homeopathy(case report of a skier). However, it is better if you consult a homeopathic doctor immediately after the first phase of acute infection symptoms has subsided and you subsequently fail to recover properly.

We recommend that you do so: Support each other with this information. Share it.

The treatment of Covid-19 should always be in experienced medical hands. Find homeopathic doctors in your area who can look after you in the first two phases of the disease.

The first 7 days of Covid-19 are the domain of homeopathy - let's use them!

Research project +++Covid-19+++ "Data Collection Patient Report | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" - Join in

Destination

The aim of the "Data Collection Patient Report | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" is to gain new insights into the treatment of the new infectious disease Covid-19 in an open-ended manner.

What makes it special

Both doctors and patients can contribute their observations and conclusions about Covid-19 to the "Data Collection Patient Report | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association" research project. Patients can also prepare their patient report independently of their treating physicians, with the support of the Hahnemann Association Patient Report Team.

Background

The spread of the new infectious disease Covid-19, caused by the RNA virus SARS-CoV-2, continues to claim lives.

The first successful study on drug treatment with homeopathy was presented to us by the Turkish working group of BÜTAD, an association of doctors and pharmacists led by Fatma Henden, at the beginning of April 2020(study, Fatma Henden).

The next step is to collect patient reports to gain further insights into the treatment of Covid-19 in order to obtain more evidence.

We invite our doctors and patients to participate in our international research project with their experiences and observations.

What is a patient report?

Patient reports describe a medical issue in detail in narrative form. In clinical research, patient reports provide initial indications for identifying scientifically effective therapies for new diseases. They have always played an important role in medical research and evidence-based medicine.

Who can take part?

As main authors:

  1. Doctors who have followed a patient with Covid-19 and would like to make their observations and experiences available to the scientific community.
You can submit your case reports together with other co-authors.
  2. Patients who have lived through Covid-19 and want to share their experiences for research purposes.
Talk to your treating physicians and ask whether your experiences might be suitable for demonstrating new insights into understanding Covid-19. If you do not find support for your concerns there, you can also write your patient report independently with the assistance of the Hahnemann Association patient report team and/or co-authors. Your observations are valuable.

As co-authors:

  1. Patients who have lived through Covid-19. Please complete your personal perspective under items 10, 12 and 13 of the patient report system. We will support you if you wish (item no. 10, 12, 13 table page 3 CARE_Guideline.
  2. People who have accompanied the reported course of the illness. These can be family members such as friends, neighbors, acquaintances, other medical personnel who support the main author(s).

If you would like to contribute your experienced or witnessed patient report to this data collection for research purposes, please contact usat patient-report@ www.hahnemann-gesellschaft.de.

Why should you do this?

  1. You are helping to complete the clinical spectrum of the new disease Covid-19.
  2. You have the opportunity to use this research method to demonstrate personalized treatment concepts in clinical application. The online platform provided by Hahnemann Association to a high scientific standard includes the possibility to present all treatments used, such as conventional therapy interventions, anthroposophy, phytotherapy, etc.
  3. With your contribution, you can show how peacefully conventional and homeopathic and/or other medicine are used hand in hand for the benefit of our patients under real conditions.

How do you write your patient report?

The main authors, i.e. doctors or patients, of the case report are provided with an online platform by Hahnemann Association where they can easily enter their observations and information after registering with us in the internal area of the Hahnemann Association website.

Furthermore, you will be provided with a Word form in which you can write your case report along the CARE_Guideline. This form will help you to prepare a high-quality patient report of international standard, even if you have no experience with publications in this field.

This patient report word form is available for all therapies, such as homeopathy, conventional therapy, anthroposophy, phytotherapy and others. Ask yourself what important new ideas you can contribute to our joint research project with your patient report.

In addition, our patient report team is at your disposal at patient-report@www.hahnemann-gesellschaft.de if you wish.

What happens to your patient report?

Your patient report will become part of the Hahnemann Association data collection and will thus help to create a realistic impression of the course of the disease with Covid-19 under different treatment options.

Together, we are conducting research into Covid-19, a disease that threatens us all, and drawing transparent, comprehensible conclusions from our observations.

  1. Your patient report is available to the participating doctors as a Word form for publication in scientific journals or as part of other case collection initiatives worldwide. We provide advice and support for publication.
  2. If patients are the main authors, they will also be supported if publication is desired. This could be in press reports and health information websites.
  3. Hahnemann Association uses the information from the patient report pseudonymized for further research.

What do you do as a patient whose case report is to be written?

You agree to the use of your patient report for research and publication purposes via a declaration of consent. If you want this, and we would very much like you to, then take part in writing your own case report. We are at your side.

What else can you do as a reader of this article?

  1. Provide information about the research project
"Data Collection Patient Reports | Covid-19 | Hahnemann Association"
Please share this information with doctors, medical staff, friends and acquaintances and encourage them to participate and set up their personal account with the Hahnemann Association to write their patient reports (Link Account HG).
